  • General Counsel: Currently serving as the general counsel for the 36th District Court, Andrea solidifies her commitment to serving her community. Upholding the principles of justice is not just a job—it’s a calling.

  • Varied Career Path: Andrea has practiced law in two of the largest law firms in the state of Michigan, Dykema and Honigman Law Firm; has been an Administrative Law Judge for the State of Michigan and City of Detroit; has been a law clerk to Governor Granholm and Wayne County Corporation Counsel; and established her own boutique law firm in partnership with her father. In all phases of her career, she has been ready to serve the community.

  • Nuanced Understanding: Drawing from the teachings of her mother, retired Judge Vanesa Jones-Bradley, and having spent over a decade of legal practice alongside her father, esteemed Detroit attorney Avery Bradley, Andrea possesses a nuanced understanding of the law. She knows that legal decisions impact real lives, and she approaches her work with empathy and precision.

  • Balancing Roles: Beyond her legal career, Andrea is a devoted mother. She seamlessly balances familial responsibilities with her passion for the law. Her ability to navigate both worlds reflects her commitment to justice in all aspects of life.

  • Creating Pathways: Andrea actively advocates for diversity and inclusion within the legal profession. Her prior leadership roles in pipeline initiatives, such as the WBA minority bar program and summer clerkship program, and current role leading the 36th District Court internship program demonstrate her commitment to creating pathways for underrepresented communities to thrive.

  • Unique Perspective: As a mother of five children in a blended family, Andrea brings a unique perspective to her work.
